Hilda Leona Gunter, 78 years old of Owings Mills, died December 21, 2010 at the Northwest Hospital Center in Randallstown.
Born April 12, 1932 in Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Harry Diehl and Beulah Shaffer Diehl.
She was the wife for 61 years of W. James "Tex" Gunter.
She was a member of Reisterstown Church of the Brethren for 60 years.
In addition to her husband she is survived by her children and their spouses: Patricia and Buddy Caton of North Carolina, Andrew Gunter, Pamela Riley both of Owings Mills, Penny and Mike Zagami of Frederick, William and Peggy Gunter of Spring Grove, PA., daughter-in-law Debra Gunter, 11 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, 3 brothers and 1 sister.
She was predeceased by her son Christopher D. Gunter.
Friends may call on Thursday from 3-5 and 7-9 PM at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel P.A. 11605 Reisterstown Rd. Owings Mills where funeral services will be held on Friday at 10:00 AM. Rev. Shirley Barley officiating.
Interment in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
