Hilda Leola Bosley Mielke Lang, 94, of Upperco, died Saturday, April 10, 2010, at Cross Keys Brethren Home.
Born May 10, 1915, in Parkton, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Henry Bosley and Lily Viola Naylor Bosley. She was the wife of the late George Lewis Mielke, and of Jacob Oliver Lang Jr., her husband of 38 years.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of Mt. Zion Church and was active at Calvary Bible Church, where she enjoyed playing piano and organ. She was a member of the Super 60's Choir at the Church of the Open Door.
For many years she played piano for Christian groups, including the Mason Dixon Quartet, and sang with her husband in groups involved with outreach to many churches and nursing homes.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are children William Clarence Mielke and Charles Robert Mielke, both of Hampstead, George Herbert Mielke and Grace Katherine Devereux, both of Upperco, Dorothy Marie Wright, of Boring, Margaret Ann Grimes, of Taneytown, and Evelyn Joyce Leisher, of Scranton, Pa.; and a stepson, Donald Eugene Lang, of Hampstead.
She was predeceased by a son, Arthur Mielke.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral chapel.
Interment will be in Greenmount Church Cemetery.
