Hilda Maudella Mummert, 85, of Glyndon, Maryland died Friday, December 11, 2015 at the Hanover Hall Nursing Home in Hanover, PA. Born November 14, 1930 in Cockeysville, she was the daughter of the late Harrison and Rosanna Curtis. She was the wife of the late Vernon Harry Mummert. Years ago, she was a secretary for Black & Decker. She was also a member of Glyndon United Methodist Church where she had been a secretary.
She is survived by her sons, Vernon Harry Mummert, Jr. and wife Susan of Crawfordsville, IN and Kirk C. Mummert and wife Lisa of Hanover, PA; her brother Ben Curtis of Cockeysville; and her grandchildren Lauren, Megan, Mathew, Kirk, and Michael Mummert.
The family will receive friends 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m., Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills where a funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, December 17, 2015. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Finksburg. Online condolences may be offered at www.eckhardtfuneralchapel.com.
