Hilda Marie Wilson, 92, of Finksburg died Saturday, November 19, 2011 at Brightview Westminster
Ridge in Westminster.
Born March 24, 1919 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late William Christian Schmitt and Martha Klotzbach Schmitt. She was the wife of William Melvin Wilson, her husband of 60 years, who died in 2002.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Reisterstown and The Order of the Eastern Star. She was a homemaker and years ago had worked for Black and Decker. In her spare time she enjoyed camping.
Surviving are her daughter Joanne Sayre and her husband John of Finksburg; her grandchildren Shawn Colleran of Rehoboth Beach, DE, J.W. Sayre of Dayton, OH, and Nikia Sayre of Finksburg; her great grandchildren Shannon, Patrick, and Evelyn; and a sister Elsie Knight of Littlestown, PA.
The family will receive friends 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills with a funeral service 2 p.m. Wednesday from Trinity Lutheran Church, 109 Main Street, Reisterstown with her pastor Rev. Timothy P. Feaser officiating.
Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Finksburg.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, 109 Main St., Reisterstown, MD 21136.
