Howard Thomas Franklin, Jr. 63 years old of Manchester, died at his home Monday, July 25, 2011 after an extended illness.
Born October 16, 1947 in Maryland he was the son of the late Howard Sr. and Julia Franklin.
He was the husband of Judith Linz Franklin for 37 years.
He worked as a plumber for 24 years with Heere Brother's in Baltimore. In 1985 he became maintenance manager at Sinai Hospital where he worked for 26 years before retiring.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son: Thomas Lee Franklin of Abbottstown, PA., his grandson: Braydin Franklin, 2 sisters: Patricia Torbit and Betty Swigger, 2 brothers: Leo and Benjamin Franklin.
He was predeceased by his son, John Thomas Franklin who died in July of 2000 and a brother John Franklin.
Friends may call on Wednesday and Thursday from 3-5 and 7-9 PM at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel P.A. 3296 Charmil Dr., Manchester where funeral services will be held on Friday at 10:00 AM. Deacon Paul Cooke of St. John Catholic Church, Westminster, officiating.
Interment in Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens.
