Howard Silvan Stansbury, Jr.

Howard Silvan Stansbury, Jr., 85, of Westminster, MD, formerly of Owings Mills, MD, passed away on February 21, 2018 in Westminster, MD. Born on August 3, 1932, in Maryland, he was the son of the late Howard Silvan Stansbury Sr., and Elizabeth Houck Stansbury. He was the husband of Linda Marie Stansbury.

Howard was an avid Orioles fan, and he loved fishing and trap shooting. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and loved his dog, Teddy. Years ago, he was an electrician for East Coast Electric.

Surviving him in addition to his wife are children: David H. Stansbury and wife Beverly, Howard Silvan "Bo" Stansbury III and wife Kim, Pat Stansbury and wife Dixie, and Ruthie Wickline and fiancé Tom, 10 grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a grandson: Aaron Bell.

The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, February 27, from 3-5 and 7-9 pm at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills, MD 21117, where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 28, at 10 am. Interment to follow in Druid Ridge Cemetery, Pikesville, MD.
