Imogene Ellen Roser Leister

Imogene Ellen Roser Leister, 84, of Manchester, MD, passed peacefully on July 20, 2018, at Westminster Healthcare Center in Westminster, MD. Born on February 16, 1934, at Hanover Hospital, she was the daughter of the late John David and Ella Marie Weller Roser. She was the loving wife of the late Kenneth Richard Leister, who passed away in 2009.

Years ago, Imogene worked as a secretary for the Greenmount Fuel Company. She loved animals, family, and church. She was a member of Grace Bible Church and Wakefield Valley Church of God.

Surviving her are children: Gary R. Leister of Westminster, Tina M. Leister Myers and her husband Mark L. Myers of Hanover, PA, Brian E. Leister and his wife Jacqueline R. Leister of Westminster, grandchildren: Chelsea, Ricky, Jessie, Jenna, Matthew, Olivia, and Amy Lynne, and a great-grandchild: Lydia Mae.

She was predeceased by her son: David A. Leister, daughter: Tammy D. Leister Andrews, granddaughter: Katie, and a sister: Irma Keefer Armacost.

The family will receive visitors on Monday, July 23, from 6-9 pm at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD 21102, where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 24, at 10 am, with Chaplain Nancy Ginsberg officiating. Interment to follow in Pipe Creek Cemetery, Linwood, MD.
