Irvin C. "Bill" Cole

Irvin C. "Bill" Cole, 90, of Owings Mills, MD, passed away on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at Carroll Hospice Dove House in Westminster, MD. Born on November 30, 1930 in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Charles Edward and Gilma Crump Cole. He was the beloved husband of 49 years to the late Mary Margaret Cole, who passed in 2017.

Years ago, Irvin worked as an auto mechanic and manager. He was employed by Michaelson Motors for over 30 years and Marshall Ford for 11 years. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army and a member of the Ionic Lodge #145 of Reisterstown, MD. Irvin also enjoyed fishing the Chesapeake Bay and local reservoirs.

He is survived by his children; John Robinette of Union Bridge, Matthew Cole and wife Heather of Westminster, Lynn Mullinix and husband Tom of Florida, grandchildren: Molli and Jacob Cole of Westminster, Kayla Smith and husband Corey of Jefferson, Jason Kenton of Owings Mills, Amber Rooms and husband Dustin of Florida, great-grandchildren: Aubree, Laynee, Colton Rooms, and Barrett Smith.

Irvin was predeceased by his siblings: Charles Edward Cole II and H. Louise Burnham.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills, MD 21117. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at 10 am. Interment will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Reisterstown, MD.
