On Saturday, September 10, 2011, IRVIN ROLANDUS SHANEFELTER, SR., 72, of Millsboro, DE died at Beebe Medical Center in Lewes, DE.
He was the husband of the late Barbara Ann Counselman Shanefelter, his wife of 50 years, who died July 10, 2007; father of Robert W. Shanefelter and his wife Elva, and Michael W. Shanefelter; grandfather of Tracey Shanefelter, Robert W. Shanefelter, Jr. and his fiancée Melissa Walters, and Whitney Mariani and her husband Anthony; and great grandfather of Brooke.
He was predeceased by his son Irvin R. Shanefelter, Jr.
The family will receive friends 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills where a funeral service will be held 1:30 p.m. Thursday.
Interment in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
