Isabelle Frederick Davidson, 91, of Manchester, died Thursday, May 01, 2014 at Carroll Hospice Dove House in Westminster.
Born January 3, 1923, in Hampstead she was the daughter of Charles V. and Cora B. McCullough Frederick. She was the wife of Elmer E. Davidson, who died in 2002.
She retired from Dutterer's of Manchester and was a very active member of the North Carroll Senior Center where she served on the council. Her hobby of ceramics won her many ribbons at the Carroll County Fair. She always enjoyed helping her neighbor, Stanley Martin, refurbish old trunks. She was also a life time member of Trinity United Church of Christ in Manchester.
Surviving are son Robert Davidson and wife Lynne and daughter Linda and husband Stanley Hamilton all of Manchester, MD and grandchildren Elizabeth and Harold Lessner, Brian and Tracey Davidson, Jeffrey and Anita Davidson, Micki and John Auten, Craig and Veronica Davidson and Douglas and Debbie Hamilton; seven great-grandchildren, Christopher, Courtney, Abigail, Lauren, Emily, Andrew and Miriam; 2 step grandsons: Bill and Michael and 4 step great-grandchildren; Jonah, McKynlee, William and Harper, siblings Elizabeth Hershey of New Oxford, PA and John Frederick, Sr., of Hanover, PA.
She was predeceased by a son, Larry "Skip" Davidson and her siblings Jacob Frederick, Mary Frederick, and Dorothy Riffle.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday May 3, 2014 and from 1:30 to 2:30 pm on Sunday May 4, 2014 at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester where a funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday with The Rev. Dr. Suzanne Adele Schmidt officiating.
Interment will be in Trinity United Church of Christ Cemetery in Manchester.
