Iva Mae Yingling, age 99 of Hanover, PA, formally of Manchester, MD, died Thursday Oct. 8, 2015 at Homewood at Plum Creek in Hanover, PA.
Born July 14, 1916 in Snydersburg, MD, she was the daughter of the late Charles E. and Amanda E. Reed Brilhart. She was the wife of the late Earl L. Yingling who died in 1993.
She was a housewife and a longtime member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Manchester where she was involved with the Lutheran Church Women.
Surviving, are a son in law, Wayne K. Thomas of Manchester, MD and siblings, Frances Parrish and Edith Cline both of Hanover, PA.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Marian Thomas and siblings, Mabel Cromer, Franklin Brilhart, Omar Brilhart and Mary Watson.
The family will receive friends on Sunday Oct. 11, 2015 from 3-5 and 7-9pm. at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD and on Monday from 10-11am. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 3184 Church St., Manchester, MD where a funeral service will be held at 11:00am. with the Rev. Christopher Litton officiating.
Interment will be in the New Lutheran Cemetery, Manchester, MD.
