Milton Miles "Jake" Alban, 88, of Manchester died Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at Long View Nursing Home in Manchester.
Born June 19, 1925 in Hampstead, he was the son of the late Edward Alban and Sarah Mays Alban. He was the husband of the Dorothy Louise Zepp Alban, his wife of 46 years, who died on October 12, 2012.
He was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ and Lazarus United Church of Christ. He was a retired carpenter.
Surviving is his daughter Donna Alban; his grandchildren Robert Alban and wife Jennifer of Williston, VT, and Sherry Rivera and husband Rafael of Hanover, PA; his great grandchildren Lily, O'Neil, and Annie. He was the last of his 13 brothers and sisters.
The family will receive friends 10 a.m. Saturday until time of funeral service at 11 a.m., Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester with The Rev. Suzanne Schmidt officiating.
Interment will be in Lineboro Cemetery.
