James Earl Elliott, age 77, of Westminster passed away peacefully, Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at Cherrywood Nursing Home in Reisterstown.
Born August 26, 1937 in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Harold Wilson Elliott and Mary Loretta Elliott. He was the husband of LaRue M. Elliott.
He was a retired printer for French Bray Printing Company.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his children James Norman Elliott and wife Monica of Manchester, Cynthia Denise Indolfi and husband Donald of Hampstead, and Norcella Ann "Sally" Gibson and husband John of Parkville; his grandchildren Todd, Jimmy, Amber, and Tyler; and his 10 great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his brother Norman Herdegen.
The family will receive friends 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, February 27, 2015 at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester where a funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday with the Rev. Floyd Westbrook officiating.
Interment will be in Meadowridge Memorial Park in Elkridge.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to The Gathering Place, 62 Madison Street, Westminster, MD 21157.
