James Robert Gordon, 53, of Owings Mills died Monday, February 23, 2009 at Northwest Hospital Center in Randallstown.
Born in Baltimore on September 19, 1955, he was the son of Robert Earl and Dorothy M. Dunnigan Gordon. He was the husband of Tina Leslie McClintic Gordon, his wife of 21 years.
Mr. Gordon was a member of the Reisterstown Volunteer Fire Company, enjoyed watching NASCAR, and loved animals.
Surviving in addition to his parents and wife is his son Steven Earl Gordon; his sisters Pat Gordon and her husband Bryan Maynard and Joanne Gordon; his brother Robert J. Gordon and his wife Rosemarie; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, P.A., 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills with Deacon James A. Ryan officiating.
Interment will be private.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. at the funeral chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be offered to the Humane Society of Baltimore County, Inc., 1601 Nicodemus Road, Reisterstown, MD 21136.
