James Eugene Kennedy, 80, of Reisterstown, MD, passed peacefully Friday, December 9, 2016 at his residence. Born June 30, 1936 in Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late James Joseph and Winifred Catherine Kennedy. He was the husband of Agnes A. Kennedy.
Mr. Kennedy was a retired teacher with the Anne Arundel County Public School system. He taught Social Studies, Drivers Education and Special Education. He was an avid outdoors man and loved fly fishing.
Surviving in addition to his wife are children: James Kennedy and wife Anne, Mary Ellen Kline and husband Jerry, Patricia Kennedy and husband Jon Rottenberg, and grandchildren: Alexandra Kennedy, Nicholas Kennedy, Brook Kline, Hunter Kline, Garrett Kline and Max Kenberg.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 15, at 9am at The Gathering Space of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 63 Sacred Heart Lane, Reisterstown, MD 21071 where a Memorial Mass will be held at 10am in The Little Church. Inurnment is in All Saints Cemetery, Reisterstown, MD.
