James Edward-Louis Bloom, 22, of Manchester died November 30, 2013 unexpectedly at his home.
Born January 15, 1991 in Hanover, PA, he was the son of James Irvin Bloom and wife LouAnn Strevig and Kelly Denise Colbert Braitsch and husband John.
He was a 2009 graduate of the North Carroll High School and Carroll County Career and Technical High School. He enjoyed working on Cars and Motocross.
Surviving in addition to his parents, his brother Jerry Bloom; step sisters Rachael Battaglia, Meghan Strevig, and Amy Braitsch; step brothers Tyler Strevig, Jay Braitsch, and Joey Braitsch; and his grandparents Edward and Elinor Colbert, James A. Bloom, and Joyce and Gerald Bankard.
The family will receive friends 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester where a funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday.
A private cremation will follow at All Faiths Crematory and Chapel.
Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to help defray funeral costs to Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, P.A., P.O. Box 389, Manchester, MD 21102.
