James "Mike" Michael Kennedy

James "Mike" Michael Kennedy, 47, of Manchester, MD, passed away on Monday, May 19, 2025, at his home.  Born on September 3, 1977, in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of Elizabeth Ann Wockenfuss Kennedy of Manchester, MD, and the late James Kerry Kennedy.

Mike was a graduate of York College of PA, where he earned his bachelor's in business administration.  He was previously employed by M.T. Laney Company as a project manager for 24 years. He enjoyed gardening and spending time outdoors.  He especially loved serving as a coach for his children's baseball and soccer teams.

Surviving him in addition to his mother are children: Dylan, Landon, and Emma Kennedy, all of Manchester, MD.  He is also survived by his former spouse: Katie Kennedy of Manchester, MD.

A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, May 31, from 10 am – 12 pm, at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD, where a memorial service will begin at 12 pm.

Inurnment to follow in New Lutheran Cemetery, Manchester, MD.
