James "Jim/Jimmy" Scott Lambert, 52, of Manchester, MD, passed away on Wednesday, December 1, 2021, in his childhood and current home. Born on April 26, 1969, in Westminster, MD, he was the son of Arbana "Abbey" Lambert who currently resides in Towson, MD, and the late Robert D. Lambert, Jr.
Jim was a talented carpenter and worked in various areas of construction his whole life. For several years he shared his knowledge with others by teaching industrial maintenance at North American Trade Schools and subsequently worked in the same field. Jimmy was a loving and devoted son, brother, uncle and friend to so many. Most of his friends he has had since childhood. They describe him as genuine, kind, humble, selfless, funny and giving. Jimmy had a huge heart and loved big and will truly be missed by so many.
Surviving him in addition to his mother are sisters: Becky Whitt and husband Jeff, and Kate Brookshire and husband Brandon, 4 nieces (Evelyn, Olivia, Serena and Jenna) and 3 nephews (Joshua, Jack and Jacob).
The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, December 7, from 3-5 and 7-9 pm at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD 21102, and on Wednesday, December 8, from 1-2 pm at Manchester Baptist Church, 2933 Manchester Baptist Church Road, Manchester, MD 21102, where a funeral service will begin at 2 pm, with Pastor Rodney Gross officiating.
Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to www.cncfhope.org/donate/. By doing so, you will help the family continue Jimmy's tradition of giving to fight childhood cancer, a cause near and dear to his heart as his niece is a childhood cancer survivor.
