James Franklin Tracey, Jr., 58, of Finksburg died Sunday, September 14, 2008 at the Dove House in Westminster.
Born on April 7, 1950 in Baltimore and was the son of Louise Wilson Mason. He was the husband of Kitty Ann Dively Tracey, his wife of 30 years.
Mr. Tracey was the owner of Tracey's Black Top. He was a member of Reisterstown Evergreen Church of the Brethren where he served as a Deacon. He loved spending time with his family and in his spare time he enjoyed his garden and wood working.
Surviving in addition to his wife and mother are his daughter and son in law Tammy and John Welsh of Jacobus, PA; son and daughter in law William and Ashley Fabrick of Owings Mills; his grandchildren Montana Fabrick and Gavin Barnett; his brothers and sisters in law Kenneth and Cindy Tracey and Larry and Denise Tracey; his brother in law and sister in law John and Robin Beall; his nephew Jon Beall; his niece Megan Beall.
He was predeceased by his step father Clarence Luther Mason, Jr., and his mother in law Shirley DeCicco.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, P.A., 11605 Reisterstown Road; Owings Mills with his pastor Rev. Shirley Barley officiating. Interment will be in Lakeview Memorial Park in Sykesville.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. at the funeral chapel.
