Jan Carleton Denner

Jan Carleton Denner, 75, passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2023, at BridgingLife Dove House in Westminster, MD.  Born on September 15, 1948, in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late William Justus Denner and F. Jeannette Shaffer Denner.  He was the husband of Anne Lawson Denner for 43 years.

Jan was a 1966 graduate of North Carroll High School.  He was a veteran of the Army and worked as a prototype analyst for Black and Decker for over 40 years.

Surviving in addition to his wife are his daughters: Janne C. Denner of Hampstead, MD, Julie Denner May and husband Erin May of Manchester, MD, grandchildren: Hailey Rieger and Jackson Carleton Denner, and brothers: Justus C. Denner of Manchester, MD, and Jon C. Denner of VT.

Jan was predeceased by his brother: Jeffrey S. A. Denner.

The family will receive visitors on Friday, January 5, 2024, from 6-8 pm at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD.
