Janet Elaine Hann

Janet Elaine Hann, 84, of Dover, PA, passed away due to complications from a fall on Monday, October 14, 2024, at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore City, MD.  Born on November 4, 1939, in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Albert Foster and Nellie Mae Rosier Foster.  She was the beloved wife of 63 years to Robert Leroy Hann.

Janet grew up in Towson, MD, and graduated from Towson High School, class of 1957.  She worked as a bookkeeper for many years, she worked with different companies, including G. Krug & Son Ironworks & Museum. Janet also worked for the CEF of Maryland.  She was a member of the Congregational Evangelical Church/St. David's in Dover, PA. She met her husband 67 years ago on a blind date, they recently celebrated 63 years of marriage. She loved all animals, especially her dogs and cats. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Surviving her in addition to her husband is a daughter: Donna Garrison.

The family will receive visitors on Monday, October 21, from 10-11 am, at the
Lazarus United Church of Christ, 5101 S Church St, Lineboro, MD 21102, where a funeral service will begin at 11 am.

Interment to follow in Lineboro Cemetery, Lineboro, MD.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be offered St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
