Janet Branen Kemp

Janet Branen Kemp, 78, of Owings Mills, MD, passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2022, at Copper Ridge in Sykesville, MD. Born on April 8, 1944, in Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Harry C. Wagner Sr., and Helen Hales Wagner. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles Eugene Kemp, Sr., who passed away in 2014.

Surviving her are her sons: James "Jim" Michael Kemp, Sr. and his wife Dana of Hampstead, MD, and Charles "Chuck" Eugene Kemp, Jr. of Sykesville, MD, 3 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a grandson: James Kemp, Jr., a daughter-in-law: Lucy Kemp, and brothers: Chip Wagner and Mike Wagner.

The family will receive visitors on Monday, October 24, from 3-5 and 7-9 pm at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills, MD 21117, where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 25, at 11 am.

Interment to follow in Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens, Timonium, MD.
