Janet Louise Shorb Patterson

Janet Louise Shorb Patterson, 87, of Manchester, MD, passed away on Wednesday, May 5, 2021, at Carroll Hospice Dove House in Westminster, MD. Born on December 25, 1933, in Manchester, MD, she was the daughter of the late Charles Albert and Elsie Virginia Markle Shorb. She was the wife of the late Preston Edgar "Pat" Patterson, who passed away in 1998.

Janet was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. She enjoyed Western movies, country gospel music, quilting, and yard sales.

Surviving her are sons: Gregory Dean Patterson and wife Donna of Manchester, MD, and Douglas Wayne Patterson and wife Nicole of Manchester, MD, grandchildren: Jared Patterson, Justin Patterson, Garrett Patterson, and Courtney Patterson, and siblings: Jean Arbaugh of Westminster, MD, and Doris Wentz of Manchester, MD.

The family will receive visitors on Monday, May 10, from 3-5 and 7-9 pm at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD 21102, where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 11, at 10 am, with Pastor Rodney Gross officiating. Interment to follow in New Lutheran Cemetery, Manchester, MD.
