Janice Lee Harding, 84, of Parkville, MD, passed away on Friday, July 2, 2021. Born on February 12, 1937 in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Leslie Hiram Debelius, Sr. and Ethel May Ayres Debelius. She was the beloved wife of the late Walter R. Harding, Jr.
Janice was a member of Millers United Methodist Church and a past National President of the Auxiliary to Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War. She enjoyed many hobbies, including ballroom dancing and genealogy research. She took great pride in sharing a birthday with Abraham Lincoln and had a great connection to his ideals.
Janice is survived by her daughter: Andrea Jean Farmer and husband Edward of Catonsville, MD, grandson: Benjamin, great-granddaughter: Caitlin, and brother: Leslie "Les" Debelius, Jr. and wife Jeane of Manchester, MD.
The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, July 7 from 10:30 to 11:30 am at Millers United Methodist Church, 3435 Warehime Rd, Millers, MD 21102, where a funeral service will begin at 11:30 am.
Interment to follow in Millers United Methodist Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Janice's name may be offered to Millers United Methodist Church Memorial Fund or Gilchrist Hospice.
