Janice Jeanette McDonald age 74 of Manchester, MD. died Wednesday July 22,2009 at the Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster, MD.
Born April 24,1935 in Baltimore City, MD. she was the daughter of the late Frank T. and May Baker Gresdow. She was the wife of the late James G. McDonald.
She was a housewife. Years ago she worked in the Sekine Brush Factory.
She is survived by her children: Wanda Jones of Manchester, MD., James G. McDonald, Jr. of Rosedale, MD. and Gail Canapp of Baltimore, MD. Grandchildren: Rachael, Marcia, Stephanie, Jay and Amber. She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren, Sisters:Toni Welling of Abingdon, MD., Iris Issacs of Florida, Nancy Lee Jones of Howard, Co. MD. and Joan Mead of Florida. Brothers: Ronald Gresdow of Glen Burnie, MD.and Frank Gresdow of BelAir, MD.
She was predeceased by a daughter: Leslie Hamm and sister: Phyllis Hess.
A memorial gathering will be held at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel P.A. 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD. on Saturday July 25,2009 from 3-5pm. with a memorial service at 4:00pm.
Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 415 North Charles St. Baltimore, MD. 21201
