Jannis Louise Masimore

Jannis Louise Masimore, 89, of Hampstead, MD, passed away on Monday, February 12, 2024, at BridgingLife Dove House in Westminster, MD. Born on June 27, 1934, in Westminster, MD, she was the daughter of the late James and Catherine Martin.  She was the beloved wife of the late James H. Masimore, Sr., who passed away in 2010.

Jannis was a member of the Lazarus United Church of Christ of Lineboro.

Surviving her are sons: Jim Masimore, Jr. and wife Pam, Robert Masimore and wife Mary, and grandchildren: Jamie Masimore and wife Kim, Cory Masimore and wife Alexis, Brook Vanderwest and husband Ryan, Emily Masimore, and Trevor Masimore and wife Emily. She is also survived by great-grandchildren: Loralei, Alivia, Reed, Beau, Hudson, Clint, Colson, and sister-in-law: Pat Masimore.

Jannis was predeceased by 5 siblings.

Funeral services and interment are private.
