Jean Mae Huss

Jean Mae Huss, 91, of Hampstead, MD passed Saturday May 17, 2025, at Homewood at Plum Creek in Hanover, PA.

Born November 23, 1933, in Baltimore, MD she was the daughter of the late William and Margaret Wright Nicodemus. She was the wife of the late Edward Hayes Huss who passed in 2022.

Jean enjoyed quilting and was a former member of the Everybody's Quilt Guild. She was the treasurer of Franklin High School, Class of 1951 and a graduate of Western Maryland College, Class of 1955.

She is survived by her sons: Eric N. Huss and wife Teresa of Pennsylvania, Timothy E. Huss of Baltimore County, MD, Daniel W. Huss and wife Karen of Pennsylvania and Carl M. Huss and wife Mary Ellen of DuBois, PA, 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by brothers: John A. Nicodemus and William Nicodemus, Jr.

The family will receive visitors on Wednesday May 21, 2025, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Dr., Manchester, MD 21102 and on Thursday from 10 am until the time of the funeral service at 11am. at the funeral home.

Interment will be in Bel Air Memorial Gardens.
