Jean Elizabeth Ogg, 80 of Manchester died Tuesday February 9, 2010 at the University Hospital in Baltimore, MD.
Born January 23, 1930 in York County PA, she was the daughter of the late Harry Edward Kemper and Maybell Alberta Shetter Kemper. She was the wife of the late Willard Edward "Bennie" Ogg, who died in 2003.
Years ago she was the housekeeping supervisor at Longview Nursing Home.
She was a life member of the Manchester Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary for 57 years. She was also a member of the North Carroll Senior Center and St. John's (Leisters) Church. She also enjoyed playing Bingo.
She is survived by her children: Linda Black of Manchester, MD., Gloria Kniss of Littlestown, PA, Sharon Steger of Hanover, PA, and David Ogg of Glenville, PA; her brother Donald Kemper of Quarryville, PA; grandmother of 9, great grandmother of 5, and also survived by several step great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends 3-5 & 7-9 Friday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester where a funeral service will be held Saturday at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Kathryn Rohrbach officiating.
Interment will be in St. John's (Leisters) Church Cemetery.
