Jerome Edward "Ace" Forstner

Jerome Edward "Ace" Forstner, age 86, of Westminster, passed peacefully Wednesday, June 1, 2016, at his daughter's home. Born January 20, 1930 in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Lewis George Forstner and Florence Emma Goecke Forstner. He was the husband of Joann Marie Lang Forstner, his wife of 64 years. He retired from A & P Bakery in 1992. He was a member of Bixler's United Methodist Church. Surviving in addition to his wife are his children Linda Forstner Goode and husband Troy of Westminster, Thomas Forstner and wife Sandy of Baltimore, Michael Forstner and wife Cheryl of Finksburg, and Cindy Forstner Fleck and husband Dan of Pasadena. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends 1-3 and 4-6 p.m., Friday, June 3, 2016, at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester (21102) with a memorial service to follow 7 p.m. Friday at Bixler's United Methodist Church, 3372 Bixler Church Road, Westminster (21158). Interment will be 10 a.m. Saturday, June 4, 2016, in the Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens.
