Jessie Elaine Bryant

Jessie Elaine Bryant, 86, of Reisterstown, MD, passed away on Sunday, March 5, 2023, at Northwest Hospital in Randallstown, MD. Born on July 27, 1936, in Glyndon, MD, she was the daughter of the late Russell Cooper and Rebecca Elizabeth Manger Cooper.

Jessie was a graduate of Towson High School, Class of 1955. She worked as a school guard for Baltimore County Schools for 30 years. She was a talented seamstress and made many beautiful wedding gowns years ago. Jessie was creative and enjoyed knitting and other crafts. She was an avid collector of Roy Rogers memorabilia. Years ago, she worked at the gift-wrapping station at Macy's, as well as the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra Show House as an Usher. She was a member of the Altar Guild at All Saints Episcopal Church and the Women's Club of Glyndon. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved all animals, particularly her cat, Tabby.

Surviving her are children: Jennifer Ruby and husband Wayne, and Randy Snyder, granddaughters: Kimberly Ruby and husband Matthew Stone, Kelly Ruby and husband Justin VonBussenius, great-grandchildren: Logan and Allison Stone, Lucas VonBussenius, and sister: Patricia Snyder. She is also survived by stepchildren: Kenneth Bryant, Jr., Shelly Bryant, Dale Bryant, and step-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her first husband: William Edward Snyder in 1978, ex-husband: Kenneth Bruce Bryant, Sr. in 2003, and brother: Phillip Cooper.

A memorial gathering will be held on Tuesday, March 14 from 10 am – 12 pm at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills, MD 21117, where a memorial service will begin at 12 pm.

Inurnment to follow in All Saints Cemetery, Reisterstown, MD.
