Joan Kathryn Michael

Joan K. (Sherman) Michael of Westminster passed away on October 19, 2016 at the Dove House after a short but courageous battle with cancer. She is the daughter of the late Harry and Marie Sherman. She was retired from K-Mart Corporation and enjoyed cooking, reading, spending time with her family and friends, taking care of others and her flowers. She was a lifelong Orioles fan.
She is survived by her children and their Spouses; Sharon and Rick Landsman, Charles Jr. (Chuck) and Kim Michael and Gary and JoAnna Michael. Also her former husband and his wife Charles Sr. (Mike) and Janet Michael, 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, sister-in-law Ruth Sherman and brother-in-law John Hess. Family will receive friends at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, PA., 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills, Md. on Sunday October 23, 2016 from 3-5 and 7-9pm where services will be held on Monday October 24, 2016 at 10am with interment in Lakeview Memorial Gardens.
