Joan Sue Poling

Joan Sue Poling, 86, of Reisterstown, MD, passed away on Monday, April 7, 2025, at Sunrise of Pikesville Assisted Living.  Born on June 9, 1938, in New Haven, IN, she was the daughter of the late Clair Vaughn Tustison and Anita Eleanor Susan Vonderau Tustison.  She was the beloved wife of the late Roger Lowell Poling, who passed away in 1998.

Joan worked in higher education administration.  She was a former member of the Women's Club of Glyndon.  She was a very active member of the Glyndon United Methodist Church. She loved volunteering, gardening, and singing.

Surviving her are children: Andrew "Andy" Poling, Diane M. Hydovitz and husband Les, grandchildren: Carly and Jake, and brothers: Gary and Neil Tustison.

Joan was predeceased by her sister: Kaye Tew.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 3, at 11 am, at the Glyndon United Methodist Church, 4713 Butler Rd, Glyndon, MD 21071
