Joanne Thomas

JoAnne Thomas, 77, of Hanover, PA, passed away on Monday, October 4, 2021 at Birch Manor in Sykesville, MD. Born on May 17, 1944, in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Alice Pack Cavan.

Years ago, JoAnne worked as a manager for Black and Decker. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family. JoAnne was tough as nails, and she will be missed by all who knew her.

Surviving her are sons: Doug Thomas and wife Amy, and Daniel Thomas and wife Heather, grandchildren: Sam Traynor, Mary Ann Traynor, Hunter Thomas, and Ryan Thomas, brother: Daniel Cavan, and former husband: Donald Thomas.

Funeral services and interment are private.
