John M. Barron age 78 of Manchester, died suddenly Monday, May 6, 2103 at the Hanover Hospital in Hanover, PA.
Born Oct. 10, 1934 in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Richard H. and Mary Elizabeth Hedrick Barron. He was the husband of Virginia Ellen Lippy Barron.
He was a retired farmer and surveyor for Carroll County. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Manchester, MD., the Hanover Moose and Hanover Eagles. He enjoyed fishing and crabbing with his wife in Ocean City, MD.
In addition to his wife, he is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
The family will receive friends 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester where a funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday with his pastors the Revs. Matthew S. and Norma L. Schenning.
Interment will be in New Lutheran Cemetery, Manchester, MD.
