John L. Basler, 81, of Sun City, Ariz., died Monday, Sept., 13, 2010, in Arizona.
Born April 20, 1929, he was the son of the late John C. and Lina Viola Neudecker Basler. Twice married, he was the husband of Dolores B. Basler and the late Jeanne King Basler.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a daughter, Vicki Washburn, of Kissimmee, Fla.; a son, Philip H. King Basler, and wife Bonnie; brothers Ralph B. Basler, of Westminster, and Herbert S.W. Basler, of Glenville, Pa.; and granddaughters Scarlett and Rebecca Basler, of Key West, Fla.
He was predeceased by siblings Carroll F. and S. Luther Basler, Dorothy Cursey Ford and Hazel Sprinkle.
Service and interment will be private.
Arrangements are by Eckhardt Funeral Chapel in Owings Mills.
