John Francis Brady, 72, of Manchester died Sunday, March 16, 2008, at his sister's residence in Westminster.
Born on May 16, 1935, in Holbrook, he was the son of the late John Edward Brady and Rose Agnes Walsh Brady. He was the fiancé of Betty Jane Humbert of Manchester.
He worked as a self-employed carpenter and enjoyed spending time with his family.
Surviving, in addition to his fiancée, are sons John, Francis and James Brady, all of Berkeley Springs, W.Va.; daughters Sharon Swaim of Martinsburg, W.Va., Dawn Wills of Berkeley Springs and Betty Ann Humbert and Kelly Lynn Brady, both of Manchester; and sisters Mary Patricia Richardson and Rosemary Street.
He is predeceased by a brother, Charles Brady.
A funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, with the Rev. James Brady, son of the deceased, officiating.
Interment will be in Holy Family Church Cemetery in Randallstown.
The family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. until time of service Thursday at the funeral chapel.
