John Jennings Brooks, 56 of Reisterstown, MD passed peacefully Thursday Sept. 15, 2016 at Future Care at Cherrywood Nursing Home. Born August 29, 1960 in Maryland he was the son of the late Stokely Linwood and Irene Idzik Brooks. He was the husband of Sarah Stephens Brooks.
He was a Fleet Mechanic for Baltimore County.
Surviving in addition to his wife are siblings; Mary Lee Richardson, Robert Brooks, Richard Brooks and Elvie Hermann.
The family will receive friends at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 11605 Reisterstown Rd., Owings Mills, MD on Sunday Sept. 18, 2016 from 12 noon until the time of a memorial service at 1:00pm. Interment will be private.
