John Charles Drennen, 23, of Hampstead died on Tuesday, May 6, 2008 at Harbor Hospital in Baltimore.
He was the born at Howard County General Hospital in Columbia on January 9, 1985 and was the son of Charles Virgil Drennen and Cara Diane Murphy Drennen of Hampstead.
Mr. Drennen was a graduate of North Carroll High School, class of 2003. He worked in the dining hall at McDaniel College. In his spare time, he enjoyed building with Lego's, looking at cars, cooking, for which he aspired to be a Chef, walking around the town of Hampstead, and spending time with his family and their cat, Midnight.
Surviving in addition to his parents are his brother Benjamin Robert Drennen of Hampstead; his grandparents Dorothy C. Murphy of Fulton, and Eugene G. and Martha L. Drennen of Sharpsburg.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather Carroll T. Murphy.
A funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Friday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester.
Interment will be in Hampstead Cemetery in Hampstead.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. at the funeral chapel.
