John Edgar Faulk, age 75 of Manchester, MD died Monday May 18, 2015 at the Carroll Hospice Dove House in Westminster, MD.
Born November 13, 1939 in Gilpin Township, PA, he was the son of the late Theodore Roosevelt Faulk and Martha McAdoo Faulk. He was the husband of Rosalie Marranconi Faulk.
He was a self-employed contractor and a veteran of the United States Navy. He was a member of the Leechburg Moose, Knight of Columbus of College Park where he also worked as a building manager, the America Legion, and VFW.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his children Lester Faulk and wife Cathy of VA, Toni Storm Brooke, Belinda Messinese and husband Joe all of MD; his siblings Robert M. Faulk of OH, William Faulk and wife Donna of PA, James Faulk and wife Pat of KY, and Phyllis Douglass and husband Harold of PA; his 11 grandchildren; his 7 great-grandchildren; and his 2 great-great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his daughter Leann Faulk.
The family will receive friends 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday, May 21, 2015 at the DONALD V. BORGWARDT FUNERAL HOME, P.A., 4400 Powder Mill Road, Beltsville and 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Friday, May 22, 2015 at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester with a Requiem Mass celebrated, 11 a.m. Saturday, May 23, 2015 at the St. Bartholomew Roman Catholic Church, 2930 Hanover Pike, Manchester with the Rev. Fr. Michael Roach officiating, and a private cremation will be held at All Faiths Crematory and Chapel with interment private.
