John Mark Houser age 52 of Westminster, MD died suddenly Dec. 26, 2013 in Mt. Holly Springs, PA.
Born June 9, 1961 in Baltimore, MD he was the son of Cleaborn Thurman and Nancy Jane Luckabaugh Houser of Westminster, MD. He was the husband of 34 years to Deborah Ann Crouse Houser of Emmitsburg, MD.
He worked as a Respiratory Therapist at Carlisle Regional Hospital. He was a 1979 graduate of North Carroll High School and a 2010 graduate of Frederick Community College. He was a member of the Westminster National Guard from 1979 to 1983. He was a member of Manchester Baptist Church. He enjoyed his children, grandchildren, hiking, history and Civil War memorabilia.
Surviving in addition to his parents and wife are children, John Wesley Houser and wife Carol Elizabeth of East Berlin, PA, Brandy Renee Houser of Missoula, Montana and Jacob Daniel Houser of York, PA. Siblings, Susanna Hinajoso of California, Ruth McElheny of New York, Debbie Jacobellis of Georgia, Mary Wilson of PA, and Michael Houser of Virginia and grandchildren; Brandan Wesley, Layne Bryan, Wyatt Daniel and Cheyenne Elizabeth Houser.
Funeral services will be at Manchester Baptist Church, 2933 Manchester Baptist Church Rd. Manchester, MD 21102 on Sunday Dec. 29,2013 at 2:00pm. with the Rev. David Scafide officiating.
Interment will be in the Manchester Baptist Church cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1:00pm. until the time of service at the church.
