John H. "Bud" Miller , 78 of Manchester , died Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at his home in Manchester.
Born January 27, 1936 in Westminster, Maryland he was the son of the late Sterling A. Miller and Esther E. Bixler Miller. He was the husband of Catherine Belle Moser Miller his wife of forty six years.
He served honorably in the U.S. Army. He was a machinist for Black and Decker and also worked for Baltimore County Public Schools.
He is survived by his daughter Michele Bowman and husband Gary of Manchester; and his (4 year old) granddaughter Micaela Bowman of Manchester; and his sisters Ethel Hughes and Ruthie Schreck both of Westminster.
He was predeceased by his sister Miriam Miller.
The family will receive friends 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester where a service will be held on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. The Rev. Mark Smiley officiating.
Interment in the Meadow Branch Cemetery in Westminster, Maryland.
