John Miller, 96 years old, MSgt. U.S.A.(Ret.), of Clinton, MD died Friday April 3, 2009 at the Northwest Hospital Center in Randallstown. Born August 22, 1912 in North Carolina,
he was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Miller.
Mr. Miller retired after 30 years with the U.S. Army, having served in Korea and WWII. He worked for a short time with the U.S. Postal Service. He loved the outdoors. He was a member of both the Elks and Moose Lodge in Clinton, MD.
He is survived by his daughter, Suzanne Severe and granddaughter Shannon Severe. He was predeceased by a brother,James Miller.
The family will receive friends at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel P.A. 11605 Reisterstown Rd. Owings Mills on Wednesday from 11:00 AM until 12 noon at which time services will be held.
Interment with military honors in Rocky Gap Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Cumberland, MD on Thursday at 1:00 PM
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to the Humane Society, 1601 Nicodemus Rd. Reisterstown, MD 21136
