John F. "Jack" Eagan

John F. "Jack" Eagan. 88 years old of Reisterstown, died Thursday September 19, 2013 at Saint Agnes Hospital in Baltimore.

Born February 17, 1925 in Parkville, he was the son of the late Hugh Eagan and Marie Farber Eagan.

He was the husband of H. Jeanne Reister Eagan who died in 1992.

He was a graduate of Towson High School, served honorably in the WWII European Theater as a member of the Eighth Air Force's 385th Bombardment Group aboard the B-17 Flying Fortress.

Long retired from Alcatel-Lucent Technologies, he also worked in the Quality Control Engineering Lab at Black & Decker. He was a long time member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

He is survived by 2 daughters: Jane E. Schultz and Juliana Eagan, 3 grandchildren: David, Matthew and Nicholas Schultz, 2 siblings: Eugene Eagan and Dolores Nies. Also survived by many relatives and friends.

Friends may call on Sunday from 3-5 and 7-9 PM at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, P.A. 11605 Reisterstown Rd. Owings Mills.

Funeral Service Monday 11:00 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church, 109 Main St. Reisterstown.

Private interment at a later date.

In lieu of flowers the family request memorial donations in his name to Trinity Lutheran Church or your charity of choice.
