John Richard Krebs

John Richard Krebs, 87, of Reisterstown, MD, passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2024, at Autumn Lake Heathcare at Longview in Manchester, MD.  Born on September 14, 1936, in Baltimore County, MD, he was the son of the late John Ralph Krebs and Laura Irene Hale.  He was the beloved husband of the late Lucy Thompson Krebs, who passed away in 2019.

John was a veteran of the United States Army.  Years ago, he used to be a heavy equipment mechanic; he was a very hard worker. He was also a member of the NRA.

Surviving him are children: David Krebs, Elaine Beck and husband Ron, John M. Krebs and wife Annie, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by siblings: Joan Merryman and husband Richard, and Bessie Bowers.

John was predeceased by his son: Mark Krebs, granddaughter: Tara Beck, siblings: Janet Bosley and James Krebs, and brother-in-law: Howard Bowers.  He was also predeceased by his first wife (mother of David Krebs, Elaine Beck, and the late Mark Krebs):  Josephine Martha Krebs, and his second wife (mother of John M. Krebs): Bonnie Sue Krebs.

Funeral services and interment are private.
