John H. Mcneal, Sr.

John H. McNeal Sr, 86, of Manchester, Maryland, passed away peacefully at his beloved farm. Born on September 11, 1934 in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of the late George and Louise McNeal. He was predeceased by his cherished wife of 60 years, Marlene Evelyn McNeal.

He served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Valley Forge. He was a retired Teamster truck driver, and also owned and operated Discount Caps for over 35 years. He also spent his lifetime farming. John was a kind and gentle soul, soft spoken, and would always reach out a hand to help anyone in need.

John is survived by his beloved family, daughter, Evelyn McNeal Mann, and husband Michael, and granddaughters, Ashley Marie Mann and Alexis Marie Mann all of Manchester, Maryland and siblings, George J. McNeal Jr, Catherine Fasca, William C. McNeal, and Genevieve (Sue) Fair.

He was predeceased by a brother, James T. McNeal.

A private memorial service was held to honor his life.
