John Anthony Neeb, Jr., 79, of Hanover, PA died Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at his home.
Born August 17, 1933 in Baltimore, he was the son of Mary A. Simpson Neeb of Hanover, PA and the late John A. Neeb, Sr. He was the husband of Eleanor Belt Neeb, his wife of 53 years.
He was a member of Calvary Bible Church in Hanover, PA.
He was retired from the Baltimore County Police Department with 20 years of service and The National Insurance Crime Bureau, as an investigator. He enjoyed his work.
He was a veteran of the United States Army.
Surviving in addition to his mother and wife are children Kimberly A. Neeb of Hanover, PA and G. Keith Wilhelm of Manchester; his grandsons Andrew D. Wilhelm of Gettysburg, PA and Christopher S. Wilhelm of New Windsor.
The family will receive friends 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester and from 10 a.m. Saturday until time of funeral service at 11 a.m. at Calvary Bible Church, 603 Wilson Avenue, Hanover with his pastor Dr. Michael Osladil officiating.
Interment will be in Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery, Reisterstown.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Calvary Bible Church Benevolent Fund, 603 Wilson Avenue, Hanover, PA 17331.
