John Ronald Potis, Jr., 49, of Owings Mills died Monday, December 22, 2008 at Northwest Hospital Center in Randallstown.
Born on October 16, 1959, he was the son John R. Potis, Sr., of Arizona. He was the husband of Rebecca Joan Luebehusen Potis.
Mr. Potis was a chef with the Greenspring Valley Hunt Club for 25 years. He was a graduate of Franklin High School and Towson University where he was a wrestler. He was also a respected reviewer of Stereo equipment for online magazines.
Surviving in addition to his father and wife are his daughters Danielle and Grace Potis; his brother Stephen Potis, his parents in law Douglas and Joan Luebehusen, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brother Michael Potis.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Glyndon, 65 Sacred Heart Lane, Glyndon with Monsignor Lloyd Aiken. Interment will be in All Saints Cemetery in Reisterstown.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5-9 p.m. at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, P.A., 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills.
