John Levi Dubs, 95, of Hampstead died Sunday, July 18, 2010 at Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster.
Born January 12, 1915, he was the son of the late Tobias Henry Dubs and Savannah Missouri Wildasin Dubs. He was the husband of the late Elizabeth Mae Hilker, his wife of 48 years, who died in 1985.
He was a farmer and had worked for Black and Decker in the Heat Treat Department.
He was a minuteman and was a member of the Williams Grove Steam Association.
Surviving are his sons Ralph E. Dubs, Sr. of Hampstead, Clarence W. Dubs of Ulysses, PA, and Melvin E. Dubs of Hanover, PA; and his 14 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
He was predeceased by his sons Ivan L. Dubs and Ray Earl Dubs and his 8 siblings.
The family will receive friends 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester where a funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday.
Interment will be in Lineboro Cemetery.
