John Thomas Yingling

John Thomas Yingling, 73, of Manchester, MD. passed Saturday July 14, 2018 at the Perry Point V.A. Medical Center. Born June 24, 1945 in Hanover, PA. he was the son of the late Roland Maxmillian and Monzie Zumbrun Yingling. He was the husband of the late Elizabeth Arlene Schaffer Yingling who passed in 2017.

John was a retired computer analyst for Social Security. He was also an U.S. Airforce veteran and enjoyed collecting stamps, history, planes and spoke several different languages.

Surviving are his son; Andrew Yingling and wife Dawn of Hampstead, MD., grandchildren; Heidi, Austin and Dalton Yingling and brothers; Nevin Yingling of Ohio and Steven Yingling of Westminster, MD.

The family will receive friends at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD. on Friday July 20, 2018 from 9:00am. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00am. The Rev. Dr. Chris Brammer will officiate. Interment will follow in John Luther Miller Cemetery, Westminster, MD.
