Jon Richard Tissue

Jon Tissue, 73, of Owings Mills, MD, passed away on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at his home. Born on December 15, 1949, in Uniontown, PA, he was the son of the late Clarence Tissue and Kathryn Woodrow Hunt Tissue. He was the beloved husband of Lois Faye Tissue.

Jon was a kind, creative man. He was a talented painter, woodworker, musician and songwriter. He was a member of Northwest Baptist Church in Reisterstown, where he taught Sunday school, directed children camps, and sung in the choir. He enjoyed playing his guitar and spending time with his family. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Surviving him in addition to his wife are children: Christopher Tissue and wife Kimberly, Alexander Tissue, Shannon Reinhardt, Jonathan Tissue, grandchildren: Kevyn Tissue and fiancée Cassandra, Alyssa Tissue and fiancé Brandon, Matthew Tissue, Abigail Reinhardt, and great-grandchildren: Jayce, Charlotte, Blakely, Zoey, Dean, and Lily. He also had 3 brothers and 3 sisters.

Funeral services and interment are private.
